The blog spot in which you are now perusing was inadvertently established by myself Greevilian (Matthew) whilst I was creating an account for WordPress.com.  I was doing so in order to assist my current roommate with a project. (For more information see post “First things first”).  But seeing as I have a free blog spot, I might as well take advantage of it.  Illusions of Grandeur will be dedicated to a form of “opinion” writing for myself and others (if they wish to join in).  I have wanted to create a journal in order to write down various thoughts or ideas about an unlimited variety of things, such as things that I might think up or events that have occurred.

Categories shall be based on the most interesting, and sometimes the  most random, facts in which we have thought of and viewed as important…ish.  There will be no limit to the type or genre of categories that will be presented; for life is full of countless variations and the mind can think of an endless amount of things as well.

With this being said, visitors feel free to explore Illusions of Grandeur at your leisure, but I ask that you do so with an open mind about what you read and/or see.  The opinions and ideas described here are not meant to provoke a response from anyone in particular for they are simply thoughts that we opted to write down.   If you do have a response or comment about any articles here please feel free to express them for this is a free blog, we simply ask that you keep it constructive and mature, please do not come here to troll or make an ass of yourself for it will not be tolerated nor deemed worthy of comment and thus a waste of your and our time.
